2. Understand what drives customer development
Before you start selling digital products with EDD, you need to know what will drive customers to actually like your product. This means that everything from painful pain to the outside is, at first glance, irrelevant motives.
One of the best ways to understand your client's target market is through client surveys. The most important factor is not the Latest Mailing Database number of people who answer, but the questions you ask and the insights you receive.
Some of the best types of questions you can include in your target customer survey are:
Demographic questions about age, gender, location, education, income, and more.
Are they trying to solve any problems?
What do they want to achieve in work/life?
What do they need?
Their pain points?
What habits do they have that are directly or indirectly related to your product?
Develop detailed customer personas
Once you have enough data from the survey, it's time to develop customer personas for the digital product. Building customer personas is one of the best ways to start building your sales and product marketing strategy, from pricing to showcasing your products.
Customer personas are detailed descriptions of target customers. It includes the client's background, demographics, challenges, hobbies, goals and fears in a detailed list. The benefit of creating customer personas is that you will have a precisely defined target customer for which you can personalize your sales and marketing campaigns.
